La Maison Tellier est fondé en 2004 en Normandie par deux frères : Helmut et Raoul Tellier. Il réunit des musiciens évoluant dans diverses formations sous l'égide du folk-rock (pop, jazz, electro). Après avoir présenté ses morceaux sur des radios régionales, leur travail est retenu sur la compilation travaux public 

Peu après l'arrivée de trois autres frères, Léopold Tellier, Alphonse Tellier et Alexandre Tellier, le premier EP La Maison Tellier est enregistré après quelques mois d'existence et produit par Xavier Alvès. Il exprime « l’amour des harmonies vocales, des mélodies qui claquent ainsi qu’un goût prononcé pour les ambiances subtiles.

A la rentrée 2005, La Maison Tellier signe avec le label Euro-visions, pour un album éponyme qui parait en mai 2006.

Fin 2007, le groupe sort son second album Second Souffle.

Leur troisième album L'art de la fugue est publié sur le label 3ème bureau de l'éditeur Wagram Music en 2010.

Le 14 octobre 2013 sort leur quatrième album, intitulé Beauté pour tous.

Elle rencontre le succès dès son premier EP The Love Club EP en mars 2013, dont est extraite Royals, «pépite pop, sobre et limpide », La chanson se classe numéro 1 dans plus de 15 pays (Etats-Unis, Canada, France, ...) et dans les charts mondiaux, surtout le billboard hot 100 pendant plus de 8 semaines, Elle publie en septembre 2013 l'album Pure Héroine.

Elle écrit ses textes et elle collabore aux mélodies avec Joel Little, un compatriote.

Sa reprise du titre Everybody Wants to Rule the World de Tears for Fears est présente sur la bande originale de Hunger Games : L'Embrasement.

Walk off the Earth est un groupe canadien de musique indépendante, formé en 2006 à Burlington (Ontario), Canada. Ils ont rencontré un certain succès à travers le monde en réalisant des clips vidéos à petit budget, de reprises et de morceaux originaux. Le groupe s'est constitué une multitude de fans sans l'aide des maisons de disques, des agents de production et de marketing. Walk off the Earth est dirigé par l'un de ses membres, Gianni "Luminati" Nicassio, qui produit aussi la musique et les vidéos du groupe. Le 7 février 2012, le site de publication A&R (Artists and Repertoire) Crazed Hits de l'industrie musicale US a rapporté que le groupe avait signé un contrat d'enregistrement avec le label musical Columbia Records. Le groupe est surtout connu pour ses reprises de chansons célèbres sur YouTube et l'utilisation d'instruments peu communs tels que le ukulélé et le thérémine, ainsi que du sample. Bien que majoritairement connu pour ses reprises musicales, le groupe possède un noyau dur de fans qui suivent régulièrement leurs compositions originales.

Musicien de la scène électronique parisienne des années 2000, Kavinsky s'est rapidement fait remarquer grâce à ses sonorités analogiques très typées 80's avec Testarossa Autodrive pour point d'orgue. Artiste de scène avant tout, et malgré un faible nombre de productions personnelles, ses compositions font partie des références des années 2010. Il sort un premier EP nommé Teddy Boy sur le label Record Makers en 2006, suivi de 1986 en 2007 sur le même label. Il a été remixé à plusieurs reprises par Mr. Oizo, Arpanet, A-Trak ou encore SebastiAn. En 2007, il partage la scène avec Klaxons et SebastiAn en première partie de la tournée mondiale de Daft Punk.
En 2010, il sort Nightcall, un nouvel EP, produit par Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo des Daft Punk. Il s'agit d'un duo avec Lovefoxxx du groupe CSS. Nightcall apparaît notamment sur la bande originale de Drive, Le titre se hisse à la dixième place des ventes
